Ingredients - The Taste of Quality !
- One and half cup of SVS urad dhal
- 1 Teaspoon of crushed black peppers
- 3/4 Teaspoon of asafoetida
- 10-12 Curry leaves
- 300ml of groundnut oil
- Salt to Taste
Preparation Method - Serve with Love !
- Wash and soak the SVS Urad Dhal properly for a 1/2 hour.
- Then grind it into a fine paste. Add the asafoetida, salt, curry leaves and crushed peppers to the batter and mix very well.
- After that, heat up the groundnut oil in a kadaai. Wet your palms and take the batter into your palms. You can now shape it into balls. With your thumb, make a hole in the centre of the balls.
- Now you can deep-fry in medium hot oil until these look golden brown and become crisp.
- For a good taste, serve hot with sambhar and coconut chutney.
