Ingredients - The Taste of Quality !
  • One and half cup of SVS urad dhal
  • 1 Teaspoon of crushed black peppers
  • 3/4 Teaspoon of asafoetida
  • 10-12 Curry leaves
  • 300ml of groundnut oil
  • Salt to Taste
Preparation Method - Serve with Love !
  • Wash and soak the SVS Urad Dhal properly for a 1/2 hour.
  • Then grind it into a fine paste. Add the asafoetida, salt, curry leaves and crushed peppers to the batter and mix very well.
  • After that, heat up the groundnut oil in a kadaai. Wet your palms and take the batter into your palms. You can now shape it into balls. With your thumb, make a hole in the centre of the balls.
  • Now you can deep-fry in medium hot oil until these look golden brown and become crisp.
  • For a good taste, serve hot with sambhar and coconut chutney.
