Murruku Flour
Ingredients - The Taste of Quality !
- 500 grams SVS murukku flour
- 2 Teaspoons omam / carom seeds
- 1 Tablespoon butter
- Salt
- 500ml Groundnut oil
- 2 Tablespoons gingelly seeds
Preparation Method - Serve with Love !
- Take a broad bowl. Put in SVS murukku flour, salt, gingelly seeds, carom seeds/omam and butter..
- Mix well. Heat a kadai with oil.
- Make the batter into log and fill it in the murukku mold(press).
- Press the murukku press onto the hot oil.
- Fry till the murukkus gets light brown in colour.
- Take the murukkus out and keep them to drain the oil.
- Store in an airtight container and consume.
