500grams SVS murukku flour
2 Teaspoons omam / carom seeds
1 Tablespoon butter
500ml Groundnut oil
2 Tablespoons gingelly seeds
Take a broad bowl. Put in SVS murukku flour, salt, gingelly seeds, carom seeds/omam and butter..
Mix well. Heat a kadai with oil.
Make the batter into log and fill it in the murukku mold(press).
Press the murukku press onto the hot oil.
Fry till the murukkus gets light brown in colour.
Take the murukkus out and keep them to drain the oil.
Store in an airtight container and consume.
